The YCLs have planned a fun and meaningful hands-on service project for Girls Camp this year—a variety show at the Senior Center in Big Bear!
We would love to give the Young Women attending camp the opportunity to volunteer to perform. To help everyone feel prepared and confident, we’re sharing this early so participants have plenty of time to practice and coordinate their acts.
🎭 Performance Details
- All types of acts are welcome!
- Solo performances
- Group performances
- There is no piano available on site, but you can bring a keyboard.
🙋♀️ Participation
- Performing is completely optional.
- We’re simply looking for volunteers who want to participate in the show.
- All girls will attend the visit to the Senior Center, but:
- Those who perform will be part of the show
- Those who choose not to perform will watch and support, then help mingle with community members
💬 After the Show
Following the performances, we’re planning time to:
- Visit and connect with the senior residents
- Enjoy refreshments
- Play card games together
